Janice Riley-Potter has worked in the engineering field for most of her life. She first started working in the food and beverage industry designing and setting up restaurants in 5-star hotels from the ground up. Later, looking for a career change, she worked for a prominent paving contractor in South Florida. Janice was in charge of day-to-day operations, sales, management, project management, and job costing, she continued her education in engineering and so started The Paving Lady, Twenty years ago.

Janice met her husband, Tom Potter, when she paved the parking lot of a restaurant he was building. A Michigan boy with 38 years of General Contractor experience in South Florida, Tom owns and operates Thomas E. Potter Construction, which does all of The Paving Lady's concrete related work.

Not only does Janice hold engineering licenses in Monroe, Dade..... Broward, Palm Beach and Martin counties, she is a certified Woman Owned Minority Business (WMBE) with each of these counties and their School Boards and Hospital Districts. She is also registered with the State of Florida Department of Transportation and South Florida Water Management District.

The Paving Lady, Inc. employs 30 people with 5.million in revenue in 2006. While providing quality pavement maintenance services for management companies and general contractors, we have always taken the time to be of service to private condo and homeowner associations. Personalized service from giving an estimate within 72 hours to getting the job organized and done efficiently with the least amount of inconvenience to residents and tenants is something we are proud of. Hard work and excellent quality backs our good reputation.
